The original gliders were Sedberghs WB943 and WB 959, Kirby Cadet Mk 3s XE793, XN 241 and XE 907 (later replaced by WT 877) the colours of the gliders in 1958 were silver with yellow stripes. In 1967 the yellow stripes were replaced with red dayglow at the wing tips. The colours were changed again in 1973 to red and white fuselage, grey wings with red painted tips, red tailplane, fin and rudder.
